Featuring a 102° horizontal and 130° diagonal FOV, this lens captures a massive area at short distances. It maximizes situational awareness and drastically reduces monitoring blind spots.
Thermal imaging relies heavily on the lens's ability to capture infrared radiation. With an ultra-large F1.0 aperture and an Anti-Reflective (AR) coating yielding >88% transmittance, energy loss is minimized. This ensures high-contrast, low-noise, and highly detailed thermal images, even in total darkness, adverse weather, or scenarios with minimal temperature differentials.
The lens is optimized for 640 x 512, 12μm sensors. While ultra-wide-angle lenses typically suffer from severe distortion, this model keeps distortion under 45%. Combined with a relative illumination of >80% (ensuring uniform brightness from the center to the edges), it guarantees high detection sensitivity across the entire frame without severe vignetting.
Lightweight: At just 25 grams, it adds virtually no payload burden to mobile platforms.
Ruggedized: The IP67-rated front element and an operating range of -40° to +80° ensure long-term, maintenance-free stability against rain, snow, dust, and direct sunlight.
Focal Length: 4.1mm. A short focal length that delivers an ultra-wide field of view (FOV), ideal for large-area surveillance and situational awareness.
F/# (Aperture): F1.0. This represents an ultra-large aperture in infrared optics, maximizing photon collection and ensuring exceptional thermal sensitivity (NETD).
