1. Who We Are
Shanghai Silk Optical Technology Co., Ltd. (BOSHI Optics) was established in 2016 and is a professional optical company specializing in the design,development, manufacturing, and sales of optical lenses.
We have our own optical R&D and design team as well as our own
manufacturing facilities. Based on our customers' actual application requirements, we can support the entire process from lens design and prototyping to testing and mass production.
Before the establishment of BOSHI Optics, our core team had already been working in the optical industry for many years. The team's industry experience can be traced back to an earlier generation of China's optical manufacturing industry, with more than 30 years of professional experience in optics. Our technical team has strong roots in China's traditional optical industry, with most of our key members coming from Phoenix Optical.

Current Production Capacity: Up to 15 Million Units per Month
Our manufacturing capabilities cover the entire lens production process, from optical elements, tooling, injection molding, and lens barrels to coating, final lens assembly, and inspection.
We have established in-house capabilities for optical glass processing, plastic optical injection molding, lens barrel manufacturing, and optical coating.
Automated MTF testing and cleanroom assembly, covering the major stages of optical lens production.
3. Our Three Main Manufacturing Sites
BOSHI Optics is developing a multi-site manufacturing structure, with Shanghai serving as our R&D and specialized optical manufacturing center, while our manufacturing facilities in Jiangxi focus on different product areas.
1. Shanghai Facility — Medical Endoscope & Precision Optics
Shanghai is the earliest manufacturing and R&D base established by BOSHI Optics, as well as one of our key centers for R&D, optical design, and business operations.
The Shanghai facility has a long-term focus on medical endoscope lenses and miniature precision optical products.
In particular, we have developed and manufactured highly compact optical systems for miniature endoscopy. BOSHI has developed miniature endoscope lenses with an outer diameter of approximately 2.4 mm, covering applications in both medical and industrial endoscopy.
These products require extremely high levels of precision in terms of optical element size, optical structure, assembly accuracy, and product consistency, making them an important demonstration of BOSHI's precision optical manufacturing capabilities.
2. Shangrao, Jiangxi — Security Lenses & High-Volume Manufacturing
Our facility in Yushan, Shangrao, Jiangxi is currently one of BOSHI Optics' major high-volume manufacturing bases.
We began construction of the new facility in Yushan in 2021 and established Jiangxi BOSHI Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. in 2022 as part of the
development of the BOSHI Optics Industrial Park.
The first-phase facility covers approximately 8,500 m², while the second phase is planned to cover approximately 24,000 m².
The facility has established integrated manufacturing capabilities covering optical glass processing, precision tooling and injection molding, lens assembly, and optical inspection.
The Shangrao facility primarily focuses on the production of security and surveillance lenses as well as other high-volume optical products.
It is also an important part of BOSHI Optics' vertically integrated optical manufacturing system.
From optical elements and tooling to injection molding, lens barrels, lens assembly, and testing, the major manufacturing processes can be completed in- house.
3. Ji'an, Jiangxi — Automotive & Vehicle-Mounted Lenses
With the continued development of our automotive electronics business, BOSHI Optics has further expanded its manufacturing footprint into Ji'an, Jiangxi.
According to publicly available business registration information, BOSHI Optics Technology (Jiangxi) Co., Ltd. was established in 2025 in Suichuan, Ji'an, Jiangxi, and officially began production in early 2026. Its business scope includes the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of optical instruments, optical glass, molds, and related products.
The Ji'an facility is developing a project with a planned annual production capacity of 120 million security and automotive lenses.
The Ji'an facility is primarily focused on automotive electronics and vehicle-mounted camera lenses, and represents an important part of BOSHI Optics' strategy to further expand its automotive lens manufacturing capabilities.
