China Low Distortion M12 Lens Manufacturers, Suppliers, Factory

BOSHI Optics (Shanghai Silk Optical Technology) is an optical lens manufacturer established in 2016, with roots tracing back over 30 years in China's optical industry. The company has 300+ employees, ~40,000 m² of manufacturing space, 15+ automated assembly lines, and capacity up to 15 million units monthly. It operates three main sites: Shanghai (medical endoscope and precision optics, including 2.4mm outer diameter lenses), Shangrao/Jiangxi (security and surveillance lenses, high-volume manufacturing, 8,500 m² phase one), and Ji'an/Jiangxi (automotive and vehicle-mounted lenses, established 2025, production from 2026, planned 120 million units annually). Capabilities cover optical glass processing, precision tooling, injection molding, lens barrels, coating, assembly, and MTF testing.

Choosing between an F1.0 Blacklight lens and traditional IR illumination for night FPV flights is a battle of fundamental physics. We break down the real-world trade-offs in MTF, thermal drift, and color data.

A dash camera may appear to be a straightforward imaging product: point a camera through the windshield, record the road, and save the footage. In practice, the lens must handle a difficult combination of conditions. The scene can move from bright sky to a dark tunnel in seconds. Headlights can create strong highlights at night. The windshield adds another optical surface

Starlight lenses are revolutionizing low-light imaging, providing superior clarity and color reproduction in dim environments. This guide explores their technology, applications, and how Shanghai Silk Optical Technology Co. Ltd ensures top-quality production. Readers will understand the benefits, specifications, and common questions surrounding these advanced lenses.

If you’re in the security field, you’ve probably heard terms like “Starlight,” “Full Color,” and “Black Light” used to describe cameras. But what do they really mean? In simple terms, these names all refer to technologies that help cameras “see” clearly at night or in low light. When there’s not enough light, cameras generally rely on two approaches to capture usable images: improving the camera’s own ability to capture light, or adding supplemental lighting.

In surveillance, resolution is often the headline, but light-gathering capability is what actually delivers a usable image. When the sun goes down, the "spec sheet" battle between an F2.0 and an F1.0 lens becomes very real. If you are looking to upgrade your CCTV system, understanding the interplay between aperture and focal length is the difference between capturing a grainy silhouette and a clear, identifiable face.
