China panoramic camera lens Manufacturers, Suppliers, Factory

On February 11, the 2025 Shenzhen Camera Industry Association Annual Meeting & China Smart Camera Industry Summit Forum was successfully held. At the event, BOSHI Optical Technology received the “2025 Imaging Industry Star Product Award” for its outstanding product performance, quality reputation, and strong market recognition.

As an imaging engineer or a procurement manager, you’ve likely seen this heartbreaking scenario: You spend your entire hardware budget on a high-spec 5-megapixel sensor, only to pair it with a mismatched lens and end up with footage that looks like a watercolor painting after a rainy day. You ask your engineers, "Where’s the detail? The specifications said 5 million pixels!" The answer often boils down to a technical metric that isn't as sexy as "megapixel count" or "aperture size," but is arguably just as critical: Chief Ray Angle (CRA). If you are dealing with high-resolution sensors, and your CRA isn't under control, your megapixels are being wasted. Here is the plain-English explanation of why CRA matters for 5MP imaging, and how a precision-engineered lens like our PL057 provides the ultimate solution.

If you are a procurement manager in the medical device industry, or someone constantly caught in the crossfire between R&D and Marketing, you've probably heard this outrageous demand lately:

In the rapidly evolving field of imaging technology, achieving high-quality, distortion-free visuals is essential. The 1/4" M12 distortionless lens from BOSHI LENS addresses common challenges faced by industrial, surveillance, and consumer imaging applications. This article provides an in-depth understanding of its benefits, technical specifications, applications, and considerations when selecting the ideal lens for your needs.

China has one of the world’s most complete optical manufacturing supply chains. Buyers can find thousands of suppliers offering CCTV lenses, automotive camera lenses, drone lenses, endoscope lenses, machine vision lenses, and customized optical components. The difficulty is not finding a supplier. The difficulty is finding a manufacturer that can consistently deliver the image quality promised during the sample stage.

For procurement managers and hardware engineers planning their Q3 and Q4 production runs, the optical components supply chain is currently flashing a warning sign. While the cost of standard silica sand remains relatively stable, the specialized raw materials required for advanced machine vision and high-definition security lenses are experiencing distinct upward pressure. The culprit is not standard glass, but High-Refractive-Index (HRI) glass. As the industry demands larger apertures (F1.0) and higher resolutions (5MP to 8MP), the reliance on specialized HRI glass has skyrocketed. However, recent market data from Q1 and Q2 of 2026 indicates that the raw materials required to produce this glass are facing supply tightening and price volatility.
